FLICKERFEST’s Festival
Director BRONWYN KIDD has said: We are thrilled that the 2013 festival has
been such a success with record crowds and great enthusiasm expressed for the
programmes screened. Its great to see short film so warmly embraced by
audiences across our ten day event. I would like to congratulate all of the
films selected for Flickerfest in competition this year and all of tonights
award winners.
PAUL FOX from Renault Australia added: Renault has a passion for the finer things in
life, and I think that we would all agree that the films that we have seen this
week have certainly filled that category. We have certainly enjoyed partnering
with Flickerfest, and sharing the Joie de Vivre here at Bondi Beach.
The festival draws to a close now in Sydney,
but embarks on its national tour – first stop is Byron Bay with the festival
touring to 46 venues including
capital cities and regional venues until May. This includes Melbourne, Alice
Springs, Perth, Broome, Canberra, Hobart and Townsville. For full details of
the festival including tour dates and venues, please go to
www.flickerfest.com.au
Tickets for the tour are on sale now. FLICKERFEST presented by RENAULT is
the must-attend summer event not to be missed!
