Tropfest alumni, Tropfest finalists, special guests and celebs came together at the Vic in Enmore to celebrate the announcement of the sixteen talented Tropfest Australia 22 finalists whose films will screen in Centennial Park (and on SBS) at Tropfest on December 8.
Artists Alex Lehours, Blair Sayer, Cam Scale, Keo Match, Lachlan Bruce, Mike Watt, Sindy Sinn and Teem showcased their Tropfest inspired artwork, with the one of a kind, hand produced movie posters all selling quickly. The first three pieces of art were snapped up by lucky buyers (including filmmakers and producer) within the first half hour of the event.
Talented Ego (just signed to close the Falls Festival) staged a live audio visual show on a large screen with the psychedelic cinema scape taking centre stage when the sun went down.
A customised Spotify playlist provided the soundtrack for the evening, with guests able to add their favourite tracks throughout the night. The full playlist from last night is at Tropfest 22 Launch Party
The special evening was hosted by Tropfest Australia’s new food & beverage partners the Riversdale Group (Paddy Coughlan, Ned Kelly, John Singleton, Mark Carnegie, Geoff Dixon and Allan Johnston) at the Vic in Enmore with guest served hearty rolls from the Vic’s famous spit.
