Darling Harbour Celebrations
From 11:30 pm to 9:00 pm Darling Harbour will be alive with entertainment.
Celebrate everything that’s great about our nation at Darling Harbour’s huge free Australia Day party on Saturday 26 January.
Nowhere does Australia Day quite like Darling Harbour and this year you’re in for an incredible line up of world music, children’s entertainment and the official Australia Day Spectacular.
Sway your hips to sweet reggae, tribal rhythms and Arabic beats with Caribbean Soul, Hermitage Green and Circle of Rhythm on the Palm Grove world stage. Be mesmerised by stories told through the indigenous dance of the Jannawi Dance Theatre and marvel at colourful roving stilt walkers and street performers. Share giggles with the kids as Jay Laga’aia hosts Leo the Clown and the Amazing Drumming Monkeys on the Village Green family stage.
As the sun goes down, join thousands of people around Cockle Bay for a civic celebration of our national identity. Be part of a Welcome to Country, hear an official address from the NSW Premier and witness the grand finale of Sydney’s Australia Day celebrations—an exhilarating symphony of light, sound and pyrotechnics.
