PIRANHA HEIGHTS by Philip Ridley

Prepare to be verbally assaulted! Piranha Heights is a full on high impact drama.  It will have you laughing and it will have your heart racing as you wonder what is going to happen?

It is set on Mother's Day only the mother has died. Her two sons, Alan and Terry,  argue over who is to have her very run down council flat, in London. Both sons have issues but this pales into insignificance as you meet Lily who is wearing a hijab, her baby and her boyfriend Medic. Medic has to take himself to the corner to calm down several times, while Lily tries to calm things down and distracts Medic and others with the baby which makes for some very tense moments. The play becomes even more tense when sadistic Garth, Alan's son arrives. Garth introduces the final character Mr Green who only he can see and hear.  The play builds to a huge violent climax ending with the brothers uniting. This might sound very bleak however there are some very funny parts, with some extremely funny scripting.
