Accessible Arts calls for submissions

Accessible Arts calls for submissions

Critical opportunity to take part in the NSW Arts Funding Program Review

A review of the NSW Arts Funding Program is being undertaken by Arts NSW. Support for Accessibility is a component of the review. Accessible Arts CEO Sancha Donald calls for your participation in the process, ‘Please add your voice to the debate by attending an information session, making a submission or sending us your comments focusing on specific opportunities for people with disability.’

The Review is seeking feedback around the following questions:
Who and what should be supported under the Arts Funding Program (Including eligibility, individual arts career pathways and the value added by peak organisations like Accessible Arts)
How the program could be structured to support vibrant arts and culture in NSW (Does the AFP achieve appropriate access for artists and audiences with disability?)
Administration of the program (Are the assessment criteria appropriate, transparent and accessible for you and your organisation and for artists with disability?)
Addressing the future (What has worked well for artists and audiences with disability in the past and where you would like to see more funding in the future?)

The AFP Review Discussion Paper can be downloaded from the Arts NSW website. Consultation sessions will be held at several locations in NSW (see Arts NSW website). You can make a formal response and/or participate in a consultation session. Please download the Discussion Paper Submission Form to guide your feedback. Submissions should be emailed to afpreview@arts.nsw.gov.au by 5pm on Friday, 26 July 2013.
