Audition for AFTRS Dance Film Masterclass
facilitated by Dr Richard James Allen
and supported by FORM Dance Projects  and The Physical TV Company

Audition Date: Saturday July 21, 2pm-6pm
Where: Connect Studio 2, Parramatta

What we are looking for: Three technically sophisticated, highly imaginative, flexibly responsive
dancers required for the upcoming AFTRS Dance Film Masterclass led by dancefilmmaker and
choreographer Richard James Allen.

This is a paid job that will require two afternoons of preparatory rehearsal and then one day of the
workshop.  Dancers will need to be able to learn choreography and be willing and able to respond
quickly as it is adapted, evolved, and reinvented to meet the needs of the different workshop
participants. Excellent contemporary and/or ballet technique, adaptability, playfulness, patience,
good humour, self-reliance, stamina and positive energy essential.

Must be available for two Rehearsals at Connect Studio 2, Parramatta:
Rehearsal          Mon July 23            1pm-5pm
Rehearsal          Fri July 27               2pm-6pm

Must be available for the first day of Dance Film Masterclass at AFTRS,
Fox Studios:
Masterclass       Sat July 28             8am-5pm

Deadline to apply to audition:
Audition is by invitation only.  Please send a short bio/cv and two small size photos (head and body
shots if available) to: PhysicalTV@bigpond.com as soon as possible but by Friday July 20 at the latest.
You will be contacted if you have been invited to audition. 

Directions To Connect Studios
It is located on two upper levels of The Connection Arcade in Darcy St, Parramatta (map). It is easily
accessible from the Parramatta Railway Station and the Transport Interchange. The new free Loop
bus service stops close by. It is also easily accessed from Westfield Parramatta.
